WORLDDIDAC Basel consolidates its leading position
WORLDDIDAC Basel came to an end after 3 days on 31 October 2008. As the event drew to a close, an excellent mood prevailed amongst the exhibitors, exhibition management and just short of 20,000 professional visitors who had attended from 76 countries. The majority of exhibitors were delighted at the increase in the number of national visitors and at the high-grade, new contacts they were able to forge in their internationally focused business. more

All set for the "WORLDDIDAC Basel" Education Exhibition
On Wednesday, 29 October 2008, the sixteenth WORLDDIDAC Basel is opening its doors. Up until Friday, 31 October 2008, a total of 423 exhibitors from 31 countries will be presenting their innovations and developments in the field of state-of the-art pedagogics and learning methods. WORLDDIDAC Basel gives decision makers, educational experts and teachers at all the different levels of education a comprehensive overview of national and international education offerings. The opening ceremony with Isabelle Chassot, President of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education, and Dr. Christoph Eymann, Basel's Director of Education, marks the launch of WORLDDIDAC Basel. On Friday afternoon, Doris Leuthard, a member of the Federal Council, will be visiting the exhibition and bringing the exhibition to its official end with a closing ceremony. more
